The project "The Czech Republic counts on volunteering" was solved at the department under the leadership of the main researcher Ing. Jakub Dostál, Ph.D. The project was carried out in cooperation with the Department of Social Work.

The aim of the project was to create a unique tool in the form of a web and mobile application for calculating and interpreting the value of volunteering for both practitioners and individuals in the Czech environment. Thus, a new method of calculating the value of volunteering reflecting the current needs of the Czech environment was created for the Czech environment, on the basis of which a mobile and web application was designed to enable simple calculation of this value. This application is located on the newly created website, where it is available for free use or download. In addition, a summary research report has been produced for further use by both non-profit organisations and public authorities. All outputs were presented at a thematic conference.
