International conferences and seminars

Members of the Department of Economic Studies participated in the following seminars and conferences

International Week and Blended Intensive Programme

• regularly organized events of the International Department of the University of Applied Sciences
• lectures by experts from abroad

International Business Week and Blended Intensive Programme- domestic

• International week-long project activity organised for students of partner universities involved in the IBW international network. A maximum of 5 students per participating university participate in each IBW. They are then divided into international teams (each team is made up of students from different nationalities). Together they then solve a real case study, the results of which they defend and present at the end. The week also includes a visit to a local company or institution, a cultural programme and a dinner together. The communication language is English. The team from each university is usually accompanied by an academic who is involved in coaching and evaluating the student teams. Students receive a certificate at the end of the week.

International Business Week and Blended Intensive Programme

• regularly organised weekly project activities by partner universities involved in the IBW international network
• each year around 40-60 students from study programmes and fields of study such as Finance and Management, Tourism, Applied Informatics, Computer Systems or Health and Social Worker participate in about 10 trips
