International Business Week - not only an elective course, but also a gateway to abroad
International Business Week (IBW) is the name given to the week-long project activities that take place at all universities involved in the IBW international network. On behalf of the University of Applied Sciences, the Department of Economic Studies in cooperation with the International Department organizes most of the IBW activities. In recent years, the Department of Social Work and the Department of Technical Studies have been involved in the organisation of IBW.
Every year several teams (2-6 students) of the University of Applied Sciences go abroad for a week to engage in a variety of tasks. While abroad, students are then divided into international teams, which usually include students from Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Poland, Latvia, Denmark, Finland or the Czech Republic.
