KES Summer Schools

The Department of Economic Studies of the VŠPJ continuously prepares summer schools for students of the VŠPJ. If you are interested in them, please contact the head of the department Ing. Roman Fiala, Ph.D. (roman.fiala@vspj.cz).

The framework rules for organizing a summer school at the VŠPJ are as follows:

• An applicant may still enrol in the summer school during the regular examination period and, if necessary, apply for an extension of the examination period. After binding enrolment in the summer school and evaluation of other documents, the Vice-Rector for Studies may grant this request.
• The minimum number of students in a group is 10, the Vice-Rector for Studies may, in justified cases, allow the opening of a group with less than 10 students.
• The conditions for enrolling students in the summer school, the content and scope (number of hours) and the conditions for successful completion are determined by the subject supervisor in cooperation with the head of the department.
• Lecturally, the summer school is provided by the head of the relevant department in cooperation with the subject supervisor.
• To obtain the possibility to qualify for another resit test/exam, the student must meet the predefined conditions in the framework of participation in the summer school (active approach, performance of all assigned tasks, attendance, ...), the fulfillment of the conditions and the recognition of the summer school is decided by the subject supervisor.
