Recognition of subjects

Procedure

• All applications for recognition of courses (based on studies at another university) guaranteed by the Department of Economic Studies of the College of Polytechnics Jihlava are considered individually.
• According to Article 16 of the Study and Examination Regulations of the VŠPJ, the application for recognition of a course must be submitted by the student in electronic form and the required attachments in paper form must be submitted to the Study Department no later than the end of the first teaching week of the semester in which the credits are to be counted.
• The detailed procedure for applying for course recognition is given in the Methodological Instruction on the Organization of Teaching in Accredited Study Programmes of the VŠPJ.

Only courses that:

1. have been successfully completed at least five years prior to the date of application
2. have greater than 75% content match with a course taught at the VŠPJ
3. if they have been completed by examination, then grades 1 and 2 or the letters "A, B, C" in the case of an A-F classification will be accepted

Recognition of the course "Practical Placement FM"

Conditions for recognition of internship in the Department of Economic Studies:

• Employer's confirmation of the length of the work experience that lasted at least 12 months (instead of the confirmation of the length of employment, for example, you can provide a copy of your employment contract and a document where the employer confirms the period of time the student was employed by him/her,  i.e. minimum 720 hours - corresponding to 18 weeks of work experience, or 600 hours - corresponding to 15 weeks of work experience).
• Seminar thesis prepared according to the required structure given in the "Guide to internship at the VŠPJ - Finance and Management programme" (in the section "Internship Assessment"), which can be found here, the instructions are also in e-learning (Moodle) for the course Practical Placement FM.
• Questionnaire completed by the student - the questionnaire form can also be found on the Department of Economic Studies website here.
