Professional internship of students

The internship is a part of the Finance and Management programme and its aim is to enable the student to verify the knowledge acquired by studying individual subjects of the study programme in practical activities in specific situations in organisations, and to supplement this knowledge with practical knowledge.

At present, the professional internship is 15 weeks in length and should be undertaken in the 6th semester of study.

Internship issues are currently regulated by the Guidelines for Professional Internship for Students of the College of Polytechnics Jihlava and Rules for the Organization of Internships for students of the Finance and Management programme. The issue of internships was the subject of the project "Innovation and support of internships at the VŠPJ and their monitoring" funded by the Operational Programme Education for Competitiveness, which was implemented in 2011-2013. The project resulted in, among other things, the internship portal praxe.vspj.cz serving to link the supply of internships and student demand for internships.
